Key Account Manager
About The Role:
Join a 2026 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and 2026 Sustainability Champion recognised by the World Steel Association. Play a key role in shaping our performance across our ARC business.
Reporting to the Branch Manager and based at our Bundamba site, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers, winning new business and expanding our customer base.
You will spend the majority of your time engaging with customers, identifying new opportunities and building strong relationships across the construction and building sectors.
What you will be doing:
- Develop new business opportunities across the construction and building sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors and key decision-makers
- Identify and track project opportunities from planning through to tender and project award
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are progressed and converted into revenue
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes and service
- Drive sales growth, market share and profitability across your territory

What you will bring:
- Experience in account management, business development or sales within construction, building products, industrial products or a related B2B environment
- Proven ability to grow existing accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence a diverse customer base
- Sound commercial and business acumen, with a customer-focused approach to problem solving
- Excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills, coupled with a strong drive to achieve results
