About The Role:

Based at our Wollongong site and reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will join a high performing team as an Operator.

 

In this role, you’ll contribute to business success while gaining hands-on experience in steel processing and distribution. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment focused on achieving KPIs while maintaining a strong safety-first culture.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Operate machinery to shape and cut reinforcing bar 
  • Operate an overhead crane
  • Accurately pick and pack orders
  • Load and unload trucks 
  • Move trucks inside and outside of warehouse 
  • Promote and contribute to a safe workplace

 

The hours for this role are Monday to Friday afternoon shifts from 1:50pm – 9:26pm. 
The hourly EBA rate is $32.08/hr + 15% afternoon shift allowance.

What you will bring:

  • Thrives in a team environment
  • Prior experience operating machinery 
  • Overhead crane experience is preferred but not essential
  • HR Truck License is desirable
