Production Leader

About the role

As a Production Leader in the Casters you will lead and prioritise all aspects of plant, process and people within the unit to ensure safe compliance with production, maintenance and quality standards.

You will;

  • Successfully lead people in following processes
  • Manage the Casting process to achieve best outcomes
  • Ensure ongoing communication and alignment with the Production schedule, ensuring the plants needs and reliability
  • Facilitate investigations into incidents and delays using root cause analysis and implementing solutions
  • Accountability to maintenance shift coordination to ensure alignment to priorities
  • Ability to redirect priorities


About your experience

Our successful candidates will demonstrate the following;

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering / manufacturing process desirable but not essential
  • Ability to motivate, influence and mentor
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Shows initiative and is self-motivated to achieve results
  • Committed towards achieving safety, quality and production objectives.
  • Work towards and sustain required KPI (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office suite
