Planner Scheduler

About the role

Reporting to the Power and Services Maintenance Superintendent the Planner Scheduler will efficiently implement the maintenance plans and schedules for day-to-day operations of the organisation and shut down periods. With a collaborative approach this role will have you working closely with the wider maintenance team to assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies for maintenance related activities and reducing asset down time.
 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating parts and labour resourcing to meet planning requirements – including contractors and external suppliers.
  • Schedule Maintenance forward plans for a 12 week look ahead.
  • Utilise SAP to complete maintenance planning activities, raise work orders and to maintain accurate master data of equipment.
  • Assist in financial and budget preparation and forecasting activities of maintenance strategies.
  • Partake in the development and implementation of maintenance plans for scheduled shut down periods as required.Efficiently develop and manage maintenance plans and activities to adhere to allocated maintenance windows and meet deadlines.

About your experience

As a trade qualified professional with a demonstrated background working as a planner scheduler you are a well-articulated communicator both the internal teams and external resources. You are 

You also have:

  • Experience working in a similar role within a Heavy industry is preferred however not essential.
  • Previous experience having used SAP or similar systems
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Highly level of computer literacy (MS Projects and Microsoft suites)
