Dual Tradesperson Electrical

About the role

We are currently looking for Dual Tradespersons in Electrical and Instrumentation to join our Engineering Team on site in Whyalla. In this role you will work as part of a team to achieve targeted levels of plant availability through planned preventive and corrective maintenance in addition to any skilled response to urgent plant issues as required. 


You will:

  • Complete repair and maintenance work orders to a high standard and in a timely manner.
  • Utilise and update maintenance reporting systems.
  • Engage with and support the site team more broadly when required.

 

In return you will be rewarded with a competitive rate with opportunity for overtime and 12-hour shift roster.

About your experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

 

  • An “A Class” electrical licence
  • Cert 4 Instrumentation Fitter Trade Qualification 
  • A strong level of experience working in an industrial/heavy industry environment 
  • Experience in fault finding, maintaining equipment and installation.

 

Any applicants that hold additional qualifications including dual trades (Electrical/Instrumentation), HV switching, PLC I & II and current high-risk work licences will be highly regarded.

 

We would consider all levels of candidates with hands on experience within Electrical and Instrumentation, including those who have only recently completed their Trade Certificate.
