Boilermaker
About The Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Boilermaker to join the Pellet Plant maintenance team. You will be joining a close-knit and supportive team where you will be exposed to multiple parts of the business and no two days are the same.

This is a 12-hour day shift position, working Tuesday to Thursday one week and Tuesday to Friday the following week, with no weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- General preventative maintenance and fabrication tasks to deliver safe and reliable plant
- Undertake Preventative inspections in accordance with maintenance plans and complete follow up action.
- Undertake confined space and working at heights activities.
- Keeping accurate records of completed work
- Compliance with quality and safety processes
- Assisting with breakdown work as required
- Report hazards and incidents in a timely manner
- Coaching and mentoring apprentices
- Carry out maintenance tasks in accordance with systems and processes to achieve operational performance targets and KPI’s
You are safety & solution focused, have a continuous improvement mindset with a strong desire to succeed. Your background in industrial manufacturing or mining is beneficial for this role.
Skills and Experience:
- Trade qualified - Welder / Boilermaker with Certificate III Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
- Forklift and telehandler tickets
- Elevated work platform license, working at heights, dogging and rigging are highly regarded
- Drivers license
- Hands-on experience using SAP is beneficial
- Light to heavy fabrication skills
- General fitting maintenance skills
- Ability to weld with the following
- MMA – Manual Metal Arc Welding
- GMAW – Gas Metal Arc Welding
- FCAW – Flux Core Arc Welding
- Air Arc Gouging
- Oxy Cutting, gouging
- Demonstrated heavy industry experience in fixed plant maintenance is highly regarded
- A strong safety focused attitude
