National Finance Manager

About the role

Based at our Chipping Norton and Sydney head offices, the National Finance Manager reports to the Commercial Finance Manager – Recycling and plays a pivotal role in shaping the success of InfraBuild's Recycling business. This position delivers analytical and process support across the unit, produces timely and accurate financial forecasts, drives performance improvement and risk mitigation, and leads value-enhancing strategic initiatives.


Key responsibilities:

 

  • Strengthen internal controls and align with group maturity expectations
  • Analyse yard and state profitability to identify drivers and close performance gaps
  • Drive cashflow improvements through targeted analysis and initiatives
  • Prepare timely presentations of consolidated financial forecasts and accounts
  • Conduct economic analysis of earnings results for stakeholders including investors and the Board
  • Review budgets, forecasts, and results across P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and PMAF metrics
  • Identify key business risks for improved governance
  • Lead and develop a high performing finance team

The foundations required to be successful in this role include:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (Master’s/CA desirable)
  • Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in a vertically integrated company
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to simplify complex financial data
  • Skilled in financial modelling, Excel, and data analysis tools
  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP S4/TM1 knowledge advantageous
