About the role
Infrabuild Recycling is looking for a new team member to join our Wacol site as an Operator!
You will be part of a team that is highly safety focused with a strong track record for delivering great outcomes and be surrounded and mentored by seasoned operators ensuring your success within the business.
The hours for this role are 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (overtime available)
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Operating forklift and manual handling
- Ensuring cleanliness of the yard and operational areas
- Maintenance and operation of machinery such as excavators, skid steers etc
- Championing safety procedures to the highest standard
About your experience
To be successful in this role you will value collaborative working environments and promote a safety-first culture. We will consider applicants with experience in machine operation, labouring or customer service
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Forklift license is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Scrap recycling, construction, manufacturing, or warehousing industry experience is desirable but not essential
- A continuous learning and can-do mindset
