National Stores and Spares Coordinator

About the role

Reporting to the National Asset Reliability Manager in this newly created role, the National Stores and Spares Coordinator supports the implementation and ongoing operation of national stores and spares frameworks across the recycling business and is responsible for coordinating data, processes and reporting to ensure inventory accuracy, availability of critical spares and adherence to agreed standards.

 

Working under the direction of the National Asset Reliability Manager and in collaboration with Procurement and site teams, the role monitors performance, highlights risks and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

 

This role will require the successful incumbent to be flexible to travel to other sites and states as required.

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Support the creation and implementation of national standards, procedures and controls for stores and spares management
  • Provide guidance to site based stores personnel for all stores and spares related matters
  • In collaboration with state and national teams, optimise national inventory levels whilst managing operational risk
  • Reduce excess, obsolete and slow moving stock through structured review programs
  • Monitor and report on inventory turns, stock-outs and working capital
  • Support repair vs replace and standardisaton initiatives across sites
  • Support shutdowns and major maintenance work with spares planning
  • Maintain supporting systems and processes

Skills and experience required:
 

  • Warehouse and inventory coordination experience in a similar, multi-site environment
  • Demonstrated forecasting and inventory planning capability
  • High level of initiative and accountability
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong stock take and cycle count experience
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels
  • Advanced MS Office software skills
  • SAP, S/4HANA knowledge, desirable
  • PowerBI, desirable
