About the role

Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Unanderra site, the Forklift Operator will perform a range of operating duties within the metal recycling yard. 

 

This is a permanent day shift role with hours from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. 

 

There will be on-the-job training provided and excellent opportunities for career progression.

 

Pay rate for this role is $32.88 per hour.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Operating forklifts and performing manual handling tasks
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
  • Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
  • Adhering to safety procedures at all times

About your experience

  • Forklift licence is essential
  • Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing is highly advantageous
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment
  • A positive mindset with a general willingness to learn
  • Passion for working as part of a collaborative team
