Senior Finance Manager

About the role

As the Senior Finance Manager in the Group Finance and Control team, you will work closely with the Group Financial Controller in the day-to-day finance activities. You are responsible for the Group's technical accounting matters and internal and external audit liaison. You also take the lead in contributing to the journal of continuously improving and enhancing the control environment within InfraBuild, with the ambition of making it best-in-class. This includes but is not limited to updating policies and procedures, conducting internal control reviews, and enhancing processes. You will also get the opportunity to participate in different projects from time to time.

 

You will be part of a team in a dynamic and agile environment, with great exposure to group functions and business team executives. This role also allows you to develop a number of commercial skills and be responsible for decision-making.

 

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

 

  • Handle group accounting matters arising from businesses or functions

  • Update group accounting policies and procedures

  • Improve the group's internal control environment and align it with the maturity curve expectation

  • Assists Group FC on the day-to-day finance operations and relevant activities

  • Prepare monthly functional reporting pack for CFO

  • Prepare all the technical accounting and audit risk committee papers

  • Prepare and review the consolidated financial statements

  • Liaise with external and internal auditors, being the point of contact for all the audit related matters and queries

  • Responsible for the new ESG reporting preparation (S1 & S2)

  • Assists Head of Enterprise Risk in managing risk framework and relevant activities

  • Involve in any special projects (refinancing, IT system implementations etc)

 

About your experience

You are a highly motivated & resourceful team player with strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset.  This role would suit first mover from the Big Four accounting firm, ideally at the senior manager level

 

Ideally you will also have:

 

  • CPA, CA qualification

  • 7+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in leading multi-locations and ASX-listed audits

  • Understanding of the manufacturing and distribution business operation

  • Experience in internal controls, processes and systems improvement

  • Superior interpersonal and written communication skills
