SAP Finance Applications Lead

About the role

Reporting to the SAP Finance and Procurement Team Lead, the SAP Finance Applications Lead will be responsible for design, configuration, implementation, maintenance, and support of InfraBuild SAP Finance solutions including associated and integrated functional SAP modules and related applications.

 

The role will also play an integral part in the expansion of current SAP footprint across Infrabuild businesses in pursuit of consistent and aligned Enterprise systems and processes including future continuous improvement activities.

*This role can be based in either our Sydney,Newcastle Or Melbourne ( Collins Street / Laverton) office


Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing solution designs and technical specifications delivering functionality that meets business needs ensuring integrated operability across relevant modules and adhere to best practice IT principles.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the development, documentation and execution of functional unit and integrated Test scenarios. Assist business with user acceptance test execution as appropriate.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice within the SAP FICO & IM PS application modules including integrated component architecture and design by maintaining knowledge and currency as the tool continues to evolve
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the businesses’ operational and functional needs to pro-actively recommend process and/or solution improvement opportunities
  • Day-to-day system support within specialist and associated functional components of SAP – resolution of issues, user training and education, analysis of new functionality requests, performance monitoring
  • Provide guidance, training and documented support procedures to Primary support and other SAP Sales, HR & Logistics team members to ensure service standards are optimised and maintained during leave absences

 

About your Experience

 

Our ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • 10+ Years Technical Subject Matter Experience in a support and project delivery capacity
  • Advanced experience in SAP Finance (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banking)
  • Advanced experience in SAP Controlling (Profit Centre Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, Product Costing, Material Ledger)
  • Experience in Investment Management (Programs/Positions, including Budgets) and Project Systems (Projects, WBS elements and settlement to Fixed Assets or Cost Objects), Actuals and Budgets.
  • Experience in all integration points between SAP Finance, Controlling, Project Systems and other SAP modules (Sales & Distribution, Material Management, Production Processes, Plant Maintenance, HR/Payroll) in both ECC SAP systems and S4 HANA systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
