About the role

ARC are seeking a motivated individual to join our Wetherill Park branch in an Operator role.


As an Operator, you will have the opportunity to join a small, high performing team to achieve KPIs and drive a safety-first culture while gaining experience in steel processing, pre-fabrication and distribution.
The working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday, rotating between 6:30am to 2:30pm and 8am to 4pm with some overtime available during busier periods.


You will also be supported by the Australian Reinforcing Company in acquiring relevant tickets required to manage your role as an operator, while receiving continuous mentoring from the leadership team to develop your skills further.

Your key duties will include:

 

  • Operating bending and cutting machinery for bar, steel, and mesh products
  • Overhead crane operation
  • Forklift Operation
  • General storeman duties - picking, packing, loading, and unloading trucks
  • Stocktake
  • Championing safety procedures to the highest standard
  • Involvement in process improvement initiatives
