Reporting to the Senior Internal Audit Manager role and based at our Sydney office, as a Internal Auditor Manager you will support the business’ commitment to strong governance, risk management, and continuous improvement.

 

This strategic senior role will contribute to safeguarding assets, enhancing operational effectiveness, and ensuring compliance across a broad and complex industrial environment.


What you will be doing:

  • Support the development of annual risk-based internal audit plans

  • Lead and execute end‑to‑end internal audit activities to provide assurance to management and board on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control and risk-management environment

  • Finalise internal audit reports, ensuring findings are clearly articulated and supported by evidence

  • Present audit results, insights, and recommendations to audit stakeholders and senior management

  • Build strong working relationships with management, process owners, and cross‑functional teams

  • Work collaboratively to ensure timely remediation of audit findings

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the internal audit function

What you will bring:

    • Significant internal audit experience, ideally within large, complex industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure‑focused organisation

    • Skilled at producing high‑quality audit reports and communicating findings clearly to audit stakeholders and senior executives

    • Ability to interpret large volumes of information, identify control weaknesses, and propose pragmatic, effective solutions

    • Demonstrated capability to build strong relationships, negotiate outcomes, and influence stakeholders at all levels

    • Ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously, set priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure quality audit outcomes
