We are currently seeking a driven and process-oriented International Freight & Logistics Manager to manage the systems and processes that enable our global container export operations.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in international freight and trade logistics who’s ready to take ownership of a critical operational platform while collaborating across diverse teams in Australia and overseas.
What you will be doing:
- Coordinate and maintain export shipment data using the BSM platform.
- Track sea freight schedules, transit times, and equipment availability.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and freight providers to ensure timely bookings and cost-effective shipping.
- Administer rate agreements, update system pricing, and support cost reporting.
- Prepare and manage documentation to support international trade and customer invoicing.
- Contribute to process improvements across the order-to-cash cycle.
- Assist with monthly market and operational reporting on freight trends and export KPIs.
- Support training and documentation processes across the local and offshore teams.

What you will bring:
- Experience in international freight, shipping logistics, or export operations – ideally in a high-volume or commodities-based environment.
- Experience in shipping to highly regulated countries, exporting bulk products, handling container land transport, and understand customs processes.
- Proficient in leading sea freight tenders and managing shipping companies / 3PL / contracts
- Working knowledge of ERP or logistics platforms experience with BSM is highly regarded.
- Understanding of containerised trade flows, export documentation, and order-to-cash cycles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners.
- Qualifications in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field
