Early Careers Advisor
About the role
The Early Careers Advisor supports the smooth end-to-end delivery of InfraBuild’s Graduate and Early Careers programs. The role focuses on coordination, stakeholder engagement, graduate support, and delivering a consistent experience across all stages of the program lifecycle.
This is a hands-on role, people-focused role that works closely with graduates, hiring managers, recruitment partners and people teams to keep programs running smoothly. You’ll help manage moving parts across the business, support key transition points such as onboarding and rotations, and ensure clear communication with those involved.
The role also involves working with universities and education partners, attending careers fairs and early talent events, and supporting early careers attraction activities that promote InfraBuild’s employer brand. In addition to the Early Careers focus, there is exposure to broader organisational development work and the opportunity to support people initiatives across the team.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of the graduate lifecycle including forecasting, onboarding, InfraBuild-wide induction, rotations, development activities, transitions and deployment.
- Support university engagement activities and early careers attraction cycles.
- Prepare and maintain graduate communications, rotation packs and progress summaries.
- Track program data, invoices and rotation changes, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
- Supporting employer brand activities during recruitment campaign period.
- Act as a first point of contact for graduates, supporting them to navigate policies, managers and people processes.
- Provide support on organisational development projects where coordination, preparation or organisation is required.
Skills and experience required:
- Experience coordinating or supporting early careers, graduate, early talent or other complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
- Experience running or supporting structured early careers or high-volume programs (desirable but not essential).
- Experience managing partner or supplier relationships, including setting and monitoring service levels.
- Strong project management, organisation, and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a changing environment.
- Confident using spreadsheets, trackers and simple reporting tools to keep work organised.
- Clear communicator who can build effective working relationships with graduates, managers and people teams
- Approachable, supportive, and able to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
