Business Development Manager Emerging Markets and Major Accounts
About the role

Reporting to the National Key Accounts and Major Projects Manager and based out of Sydney or Brisbane, you will be the face of InfraBuild across Australia’s most influential Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers, major projects and fast growing sectors such as renewables and data centres.
This is a hands on, customer focused role, uncovering customer needs, navigating pain points, shaping value propositions and influencing decisions at both contractor and senior executive level. You will play a key role in long term succession planning, working closely with national procurement functions, the national bid team and commercial/legal team to drive bids, negotiations and contract extensions.
What you will be doing:
- Identification of emerging markets (renewables/energy transition data centres) and execution of strategy
- Business development, relationship management, leading bids, negotiation and contract execution
- Assisting National Key Accounts Manager with National Key Account relationships
- Market awareness and intel on new emerging markets

What you will bring:
- A strong and successful sales and account management background within the building or construction industry
- Technical construction and P&L build up understanding
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in negotiating and securing deals
- Ability to develop and implement tactical sales plans to deliver against business objectives
- Sound IT skills and experience using a CRM
