After a challenging a few years, we’ve experienced an exceptional turnaround in VIC and are looking for candidates who can build on this and take advantage of the opportunities ahead. InfraBuild Reinforcing have an exciting opportunity for a VIC State Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for the overall performance of the IBR VIC business as well as deployment of the National IBR strategy and business plan.

Responsibilities include:
 

  • Full P&L responsibility 
  • Overall leadership of the VIC business in what is a genuine state GM level role
  • Lead the business through a period of growth and expansion 
  • Drive a continuous improvement mindset in all parts of the VIC business
  • Play a key role in market including developing and strengthening relationships with key customers
  • Ensure the highest standards in our operations so that customer service and DIFOT is exceptional
  • Lead the successful delivery of major Infrastructure projects
  • Engage the team and develop workforce capability
  • Lead by example and promote best in class safety culture
  • Ensure compliance and corporate governance requirements are met


The foundations required to be successful in this role include:
 

  • A proven track record running a business and lifting performance
  • Knowledge of construction (residential and major projects) and heavy manufacturing industries, including markets, customers, competitors, trends and innovation
  • Ideally you will have an existing network within the Victorian construction market
  • Highly developed stakeholder management skills with proven experience delivering solutions
  • Implementing change and bringing others on the journey
  • Developing the capability of the workforce through coaching, training and mentoring
  • Leading by example and making safety a priority in the work environment
  • Ensuring compliance and corporate governance requirements are met
