Production Supervisor - Afternoon Shift
About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager and based at our Sunshine site, you will lead wire and mesh manufacturing and despatch processes, ensuring all outputs meet quality and ACRS accreditation standards while minimising waste. You will drive continuous improvement across safety, manufacturing and cost performance, while supervising the Afternoon Shift team to maximise productivity, efficiency and financial outcomes.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and embed a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all OH&S policies, audits and incident management processes.
- Drive production performance by maximising output, efficiency and machine uptime across wire, mesh and despatch operations.
- Ensure product quality meets AS4671 and ACRS standards through testing, reporting and continuous improvement of processes.
- Supervise and develop the Afternoon Shift team, managing performance, labour utilisation and capability uplift.
- Control operational and consumable costs to meet budget targets and improve financial outcomes.
- Partner with maintenance, planning and suppliers to optimise production flow, inventory and site operations.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives across safety, manufacturing and quality systems.
This is an Afternoon Shift role, working Monday to Friday from 2:50pm to 11:00pm.

What you will bring:
- Proven leadership and people management experience, with the ability to motivate teams, set performance expectations and drive accountability in operational environments.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to prioritise work, manage competing demands and deliver on production targets.
- Demonstrated capability in reporting, compliance and quality systems, with experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to drive production efficiencies, manage costs and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction or similar industrial environments will be highly regarded.
