Confirmation / Demand Planner

About the role

As our new Confirmation Planner, you will join a thriving market-leading production network as part of the Planning team, and drive confirmation planning with a delivery horizon of 2- 5 days. You will be a critical point of contact for our customers, production and project staff.

 

This role is site based, Monday to Friday.

 

Key responsibilities for this role include:
 

  • Review customer confirmed work; analysing quantity, stock availability, distribution and location, before assigning work to the best suited production facility within the network.
  • Focusing on network smoothing and optimising the efficiency of network operation.
  • Continuous communication with the production and transport teams to monitor production capacity to build a successful plan
  • Manage stakeholder’s expectations, to ensure a consistent production and delivery function
  • Driving continuous improvement across the business unit, to support high performance and quality standards.

 

It’s important that you have a problem-solving attitude with results focused mindset; as you will be managing the outcomes of large infrastructure projects for our top tier customers.


 

  • Logistics, supply chain, construction or manufacturing experience
  • 3 years’ minimum experience in a planning, operations or customer service role
  • A proven track record of managing complex deadlines
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent ability to communicate with both internal & external customers
  • Ability to effectively solve problems & create win-win situations
