Planning Manager

About the role

Reporting into the NSW Operations Manager, as Planning Manager for St Marys, you will be responsible for overseeing the forward demand, daily production plan and execution of the site within established safety standards, timing, quality and cost standards. This will include driving planning efficiencies and ensuring timely execution of planned work to meet customer delivery deadlines.

 

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Leading the advancement of our safety focused culture within operations
  • Ensuring feasible work mix, volume, and delivery plans into production facilities
  • Identifying and actioning Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Developing operational capability
  • Developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Ensuring alignment of customer requirements with production and logistics capability
  • Delivery of the InfraBuild Reinforcing Operational strategy & Plan

About your experience

It is important that you have a solution finding mentality and are able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities to get the best outcomes for our whole customer base.

 

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a Manufacturing & Distribution business
  • Experience with Rebar and Reinforcing Machines (desirable)
  • Experience within the Construction Industry (desirable)
  • Formal Planning Qualifications (desirable)
  • High degree of customer centricity with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and software skills to complete required tasks (Microsoft Office, JDE, ARMA, SPARKS).
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of time management and organisation skills
  • High safety standards as a core value
