Account Manager

About the role

As the Account Manager you will be required to develop customer partnerships to allow for early engagement in identifying projects, develop profitable tenders and deliver on volume targets.

You understand teamwork is critical to achieving this success. Working in conjunction with the Sales Manager, you will help drive a culture of work smarter not harder, through innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiencies.

Our ideal candidate will have a background in the construction industry as well as a background in building product sales.

Your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Understanding the business strategy and product pricing
  • Build individual stakeholder strategy and map out effective relationship plans
  • Maintain Key relationships with current major customers as well as seeking new customers
  • Preparing journey plans and acceleration plans
  • Project identification and budget forecasting
  • Bid Development and negotiation
  • Manage a target plan of customers & projects to win 
  • Final sign off and project handover


You will be passionate and enthusiastic about the building and construction industry and what InfraBuild has to offer in the market.  Your previous experience in this industry will be highly advantageous to your success in this role.

To be successful in this role, you will have: 
 

  • Current or previous experience in an account management or sales role 
  • Previous customer facing experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience using a CRM, JDE and MS suite
  • Understanding of construction acumen is beneficial
  • Experience in engineering construction or construction industry is preferable
  • Strong business acumen and reporting skills
