About the role

 

With the largest and most experienced sales support team and distribution network, this is your opportunity to excel, working alongside industry stakeholders and the Nation’s most innovative farming solutions. Our robust team are passionate about what they deliver and how they deliver it, you’ll be the same!

 

Servicing a diverse territory within Gippsland Victoria, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our rural retailers, helping them build better outcomes for their businesses. Working alongside fervently with key farmers, fencing contractors, government bodies and industry groups. You will also be responsible for;

 

  • Selling to existing and potential rural retailers, contact with key primary producers and fencing contractors
  • Identifying and acting on new opportunities with retailers within your sales region
  • Providing a high level of service and support to our customer base
  • Implementing market strategies and promotions in line with national and regional goals
  • Attending and organising field days and customer training
About your experience

 

We are seeking someone with a ‘can do attitude’ enthusiastic, excellent communicator with a proven sales track record. Ideally, you will have a sound understanding and knowledge of the rural retail business, and have a practical experience in dealing with landholders, fencing contractors, government bodies and industry groups. You will also have an understanding of the Australian agricultural industry.

 

An agricultural related qualification and experience working in the industry is desirable. A passion for farming is essential, non-questionable. This will be your success. Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system is desirable. This position also requires some travel, therefore applicants must be prepared to spend nights away from home as required.
