Sourcing Specialist

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic Procurement team based in Rooty Hill. This role is crucial in managing the Procure to Pay process and driving cost reductions while supporting the operational procurement needs of our business.

 

Day to day you will

  • Conduct tenders, RFQs, and spot buying
  • Placing and tracking purchase orders
  • Managing supplier performance and compliance
  • Supporting contract management and invoice reconciliation
  • Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
  • Ensuring adherence to procurement policies and safety standards

 

Our ideal candidate will have

  • A strong commitment to safety and compliance
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with SAP and procurement systems (advantageous)
  • A passion for delivering outstanding service to internal stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain will be highly regarded
  • Exposure to SAP
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills
