ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Rockhampton branch as an Operator. We offer a generous relocation package, including relocation allowance, removalist expenses, flights, and temporary accommodation.
Hours for this position are Monday to Friday, daytime hours.
The hourly rate is $34 per hour, plus a remote living allowance of $6,000 per year.
In this role you will:
- Operating manual benders, shearlines & off coils to shape, cut and process bar
- Inputting job tags on machines to produce steel products
- Operate a forklift and overhead gantry crane as you will be picking, packing, loading, and unloading trucks
- Play an active role in promoting a safe workplace and working collaboratively

- Has a positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn new skills
- Shows a natural ability to think on their feet and solve problems
- Values a safe work environment
- Enjoys working as part of a team and brings enthusiasm to collaborative efforts
- Ideally has a forklift license and experience – but we’re happy to train you if not!
- Crane operation experience or ticket is a bonus, though not required as we can train you on the job!
