Key Account Manager
About The Role

Reporting to the Area Manager and based at our Rockhampton site, you will take ownership of a defined territory, managing and growing key customer accounts while driving new business opportunities across the residential, commercial and heavy civil sectors.
What you will be doing:
- Manage and grow key customer accounts across your defined territory.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across residential, commercial and heavy civil sectors.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with resellers and end-use customers.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and identify opportunities to grow market share.
- Work closely with the Area Manager and wider team to drive sales performance and business growth.
- Manage your territory autonomously, including regular customer visits and occasional overnight travel.

What you will bring:
- Proven experience in account management, business development or B2B sales.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of identifying and converting sales opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence working autonomously and managing a defined sales territory.
- Experience within construction, building products, steel or related industries will be highly regarded.
