Production and Transport Coordinator
About the role
In a make to order environment you will demonstrate experience in production planning, scheduling and prioritisation. You will be responsible for planning production to optimise service levels and customer satisfaction, without compromising our well-established safety and quality standards. This role requires you to work alongside 3 CSO’s and 15 staff on the floor.
This role can be either part time or full time.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate production and delivery schedules
- Maintain up to date and accurate production reports
- Maintain necessary inventory levels of finished goods/raw materials
- Communicate any supply related issues
- Interacting with customers in planning/production work over the phone
About your experience
We are looking for a proactive individual with an ability to problem solve. This person will enjoy working in a team, be highly organised and have a strong attention to detail.
You also have:
- Manufacturing, Production, Transport experience is preferred
- Administration experience is preferred but not essential
- Experience with scheduling delivery sequences efficiently and safely
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to learn quickly
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across all stakeholder levels.
