About the role

The Australian Reinforcing Company - ARC have an exciting new Operator role available in our Queanbeyan branch. This role is perfect for a motivated individual looking to start a career in manufacturing.
 

The role is a permanent, full time role, hours will be 5am – 1pm, Monday to Friday. (Overtime available depending on demand)
 

Your new role will see you being responsible for but not limited to:
 

  • Learning and operating various machine such as bar cutters, benders.
  • Operating an overhead gantry crane and forklift
  • Picking and packing product
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Championing safety procedures to the highest standards
  • Involvement in process improvement initiatives
  • Daily housekeeping and machine maintenance duties

 

To be successful in your application you will need:
 

  • Experienced Operator/Storeperson or someone willing to learn
  • Manufacturing, logistics or construction industry experience (not essential)
  • Forklift licence and crane experience (not essential)
  • A continuous learning and can-do mindset
  • Safety focused
