Driver
About The Role
Delivering reinforcing steel to construction sites throughout Queanbeyan while driving brand-new, crane-equipped semi-trailers. You will be reporting to the Transport Supervisor and you'll play a pivotal role in fulfilling duties typically handled by the operator, all while embodying our company values!
Key responsibilities:

Safely operate and drive our brand-new trucks, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations

Utilise crane equipment for loading and unloading at sites, ensuring secure and efficient handling of materials

Assist in fulfilling duties of an Operator/Storeperson during extended waiting periods, contributing to the overall efficiency of on-site operations

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections and any incidents, provide these in a timely manner to Transport Supervisor

Provide excellent customer service to all customers
-
Adhere to all WHS and Heavy Vehicle Transport regulations, policies and procedures
*Please also note that pre-employment and drug testing will be required to be successful in this role.
You will have previous experience in driving heavy combination vehicles and operating cranes.
You also demonstrate:

Valid Australian HC Truck Licence

White card, Asbestos and Silica Safety Certifications

CV Crane Licence (or proof of enrolment)

Willingness to work regular Overtime and have flexibility in working hours based on deliveries and customer demand

Adaptability to provide assistance at the branch

Excellent customer service and communication skills
