Territory Sales Manager - Waratah Fencing
About the role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of a substantial rural territory covering key agricultural regions of Western Australia, building strong relationships with distributors, farming enterprises, fencing contractors and key industry influencers. This is a highly autonomous role where you'll manage and grow an established customer base while identifying new business opportunities across agricultural and rural markets.
Spending the majority of your time on the road, you'll become the local face of the Waratah brand, developing a deep understanding of seasonal conditions, livestock trends and customer needs to deliver commercial growth across your territory.
What you will be doing:
- Manage and grow an established territory spanning Narrogin to Carnarvon, delivering sales, margin and market share growth.
- Build strong relationships with rural distributors, farmers, fencing contractors and other key industry influencers.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across agricultural markets.
- Develop territory plans, sales forecasts and customer growth strategies to achieve commercial targets.
- Provide product demonstrations, training and technical support to customers and end users.
- Monitor seasonal, market and competitor activity, translating insights into opportunities for growth.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support customer outcomes, account management and credit collection activities.

What you will bring:
- A genuine passion for agriculture and rural communities, gained through study, work experience or personal background
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence a broad range of customers
- Experience in sales, account management, business development or customer-facing roles, preferably within the agricultural, rural, industrial or related sectors
- A self-motivated and organised approach, with the ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory
- A current and valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays
