Operations Manager

About the role

ARC is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will be managing the overall operations of the Queanbeyan site while serving as a liaison between the Manufacturing team and other functions of the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activities of the operations team
  • Responsibility for completion of, and adherence to all WH&S commitments 
  • Safely lead and motivate a team of 17 direct reports
  • Ensure all processes are running correctly and efficiently 
  • Take charge of administrative duties and ad hoc requests
  • Proactively review and implement process improvement initiatives as necessary

About your experience

Our ideal candidate will possess solid leadership qualities and problem-solving skills in order to drive success within the Operations team. 

You also have:

  • Manufacturing experience
  • A process driven approach to your work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage while overseeing a team
  • Strong people management experience
