Day Shift Supervisor - Noble Park
About The Role
ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) is looking for a self-driven Day Shift Supervisor.

Reporting to the Branch Manager and based at our Noble Park site, you will be joining a company that focuses on career development and actively works on promoting internal candidates and supporting employees on their career journey.
Our Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the safety and day-to-day manufacturing and logistics of the shift. You will be coordinating the operational activities of the shift including management of production and dispatch staff, including employee performance and safe operations, quality of work and implementation of improvement processes.
What you will be doing:
- Managing a team of Operators
- Ensuring all WHS management system requirements are met and safety standards are maintained
- Leading and managing the shift to ensure the production and output KPIs are met
- Coordinating the dispatch team to ensure safe loading of trucks and deliveries are on time to customers.
- Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders
- Identify and drive cost reduction opportunities and improvement initiatives
- Managing costs to ensure delivery is met in the most cost-effective manner
- Allocating appropriate manning and ensuring employees are trained, fit, qualified and competent to effectively run operations
The hours for this role are 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

You are an experienced leader with a background in manufacturing or associated heavy industry. You will be skilled in robust safety practices, building strong internal and external relationships, responding to frequent changes in priorities and have a solution-oriented mindset.
What you will bring:
- Proven people leader with strong, authentic and accountable leadership style
- Extensive experience in manufacturing operations, production, and planning
- Strong knowledge of safety systems, hazard identification, and building a positive safety culture
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, with solid skills in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and people management
- Experience implementing lean systems and driving continuous process improvement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems; steel reinforcing and unionized workforce experience advantageous
