SAP HR Team Lead-Sydney
About the role
The SAP HR Team Lead provides specialist technical capability for the design, implementation, maintenance and support of Infrabuilds SAP HR and Payroll systems and related application interfaces.
The role will also play an integral part in the support of the SAP application footprint and promote production change across InfraBuild businesses.
The team lead element of this role extends across SAP HR & Payroll components, and cross functional SAP support resources.
The Infrabuild SAP team supports all Infrabuild businesses who use SAP as the ERP and can be based out of Sydney, Newcastle or Laverton (VIC).
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide technical expertise and advice within the SAP HR Payroll application including integrated component architecture and design by maintaining knowledge and currency as the tool continues to evolve
- Develop a thorough understanding of the businesses’ operational and functional needs to pro-actively recommend process and/or solution improvement opportunities
- Providing solution designs and technical specifications delivering functionality that meets business needs ensuring integrated operability across relevant modules and adhere to best practice IT principles
- Assess, document, and communicate change implications
- Co-ordinating and assisting with general project tasks, including provision of key user assistance to complete training, documentation, process review and design, data cleansing and cutover tasks
- Coordinating and contribute to the development, documentation and execution of functional unit and integrated Test scenarios. Assist business with user acceptance test execution as appropriate.
- Day-to-day system support within specialist and associated functional components of SAP – resolution of issues, user training and education, analysis of new functionality requests, performance monitoring
- Provide oversight and direction on work activities and priorities
About your Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of Technical Subject Matter Experience in a support and project delivery capacity
- Ability to understand the needs of customers and clearly engage and communicate with them
- Adherence to and enforcement of IT standards and Industry best practice
- Advanced experience with design, implementation, maintenance, administration and support of SAP Payroll HR
- Experience in SAP SuccessFactors and SAP FICO modules will be highly regarded
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Commitment and willingness to learn, embrace emerging technologies, dedication to growth, self-learning and continuous improvement
