Process Engineer
About the role
We have an opportunity for a motivated Process Engineer to join the team at our brand new, modern, Mesh manufacturing facility in Newcastle. This role is critical in driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing production processes on the site. The candidate must understand and implement LEAN principles within their work.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyse process data and identify trends to optimize process performance

Developing drawings, specifications, schematics in relation to maintenance, repair, and project work

Run projects to reduce waste in current processes

Engage local suppliers to manufacture consumable spares where you will identify the consumable items, understand the material specifications and ensure these items are readily available.

Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting of process-related issues.

Monitor and evaluate key process indicators and generate reports on plant performance

Developing and maintaining asset lifecycle register

Developing drawings, specifications, schematics in relation to maintenance, repair, and project work
Our Ideal candidate will have:

A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
