Industrial Sales Manager
About the role
InfraBuild is seeking a commercially driven Industrial Sales Manager to lead growth strategies across Mining and Manufacturing segments. This pivotal role will strengthen customer partnerships, manage critical sales channels, and drive market / product development initiatives including Mining Roof Bolt, Mine Mesh, Threaded Bar and High Carbon Steels.
Reporting to the Head of Sales – SIC and Industrial, this role will lead Infrabuilds strategy for key channel partners in the Mining & Resources sectors and direct manufacturing accounts the role will be the key link between our customers and operations to help sharpen our competitive edge against imports. Key Responsibilities include:
- Build and manage strong customer and internal relationships
- Lead growth in the mining/resources segment through channel and product strategy
- Own market intelligence, sales forecasting, and quality issue resolution
- Drive key business and product development initiatives
- Manage Manufacturing and Resource segment performance: forecasts, sales, DIFOT and site-level outcomes
- Ability to deeply understand our customers’ needs and translate those insights into actionable strategies that help us improve the businesses service offering.
About you
You have a customer-first mindset, strong business acumen and proven ability to build customer and internal relationships to deliver successful outcomes. Other desirable skills and experience:
- Previous sales/account manager/business development and customer facing experience
- Experience and demonstrated record of achieving results in a similar heavy manufacturing environment
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline highly regarded
- Mining and resources industry experience highly regarded
