HR Systems Specialist

About the role

The HR Services team is responsible for the provision of HR support services to the GFG Australia business and HR teams to ensure effective and efficient management of people information and employee lifecycle processes.

 

The HR Systems Specialist is pivotal in ensuring that our HR systems are efficient, effective and aligned with our business objectives, providing functional, technical and process leadership to enable best practice Human Resources delivery to the business.

 

Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Identify opportunities for improvements and enhancements and propose solutions to system configuration

  • Manage requests for system changes and process improvement requests

  • Configure, test and implement changes in the system

  • Ensure compliance with bi-annual system releases by reviewing and proposing new functionality for implementation

  • Collaborate with the business on regular ongoing cyclical activities within the system

  • Provide training materials including guides and regular training sessions to end users

  • Undertake system audits and maintain data integrity

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in data analysis and insight creation within a Human Resources function

  • Previous experience in HRIS platforms is essential, experience with SuccessFactors would be advantageous

  • Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools

  • Proven capability to manage change through the initiation and promotion of organisational transformation, leveraging effective process collaboration and communication to foster commitment and participation

  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively and manage competing resources and demands
