HR Systems Specialist (HRX18)

Reporting to the Head of HR Systems, Payroll and Analytics and based in Newcastle, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of efficient and effective HR systems.
The HR Systems team provides critical HR support across the InfraBuild Australia business, ensuring the seamless management of people information and employee lifecycle processes.
As the HR Systems Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our HR systems are efficient, effective, and aligned with business objectives. You will provide functional, technical, and process leadership, enabling best-practice HR service delivery across the organisation.
What you will be doing:
- Manage requests for system changes and process improvement requests
- Identify opportunities for improvements and enhancements and propose solutions to system configuration
- Configure test and confirm changes in the system
- Ensure compliance with bi-annual SAP SuccessFactors releases and review and propose new functionality for implementation if suitable
- Collaborate with the business on regular ongoing system support requirements,
- Analysis of HR data to produce reports on key HR metrics
- Provide training materials such as quick reference guides and regular training sessions to end users
- Undertake system audits and maintain data integrity
- Responding to end user queries including troubleshooting technical solutions

What you will bring:
Our ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, excellent communicator, have a resilient approach and bring the energy required to make a difference within the HR systems space.
- Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools within a large organisation
- Proven capability to manage change through the initiation and promotion of organisational transformation, leveraging effective process collaboration and communication to foster commitment and participation
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively and manage competing resources and demands
- Highly developed consulting and influencing skills, demonstrating the ability to co-create strategy and valuable analytical solutions with key business stakeholders
- Experience in design, data analysis and insight creation within a Human Resources Information System reporting role
- Previous experience with SuccessFactors and or any other HR system is desirable
