Despatch Coordinator
About the role
As our Despatch Coordinator, you will demonstrate experience in despatch planning, scheduling and prioritisation. You will be working closely with your Despatch Supervisor and interacting with all departments on site.
You will be responsible for planning despatch to optimise service levels and customer satisfaction, without compromising our well-established safety and quality standards.

Despatching of all loads through JDE

Ensure required fleet matches delivery plan

Accurate despatch of correct order to customer

Daily liaison with customers, the planning team and the project management team with notification of changes to the delivery plan, concerns on site and proof of delivery requests

Preparation of delivery paperwork and general administrative duties

Managing driver and wait times with an expectation to reduce yard wait time

Performing load checks and auditing of loads and load restraint

Sign off safety checklists

Adhering to all relevant health and safety policies, standards, procedures and legislative requirements
We are seeking a proactive, customer focused individual, with outstanding problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of the transport/heavy vehicle industry and loads and be a highly organised team player with exemplary attention to detail.

Be computer literate and have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, JDE/SAP, Sparks desirable
