Demand Planning Analyst

About the role

The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining the demand planning process, ensuring accurate forecasts, data integrity, and system integrity. This role plays a key part in enabling effective Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and ensuring alignment between sales, operations, finance, and supply chain functions.

Key responsibilities:

·       Review and manage demand history.

·       Maintain and update statistical forecast models using system tools and defined parameters.

·       Generate and publish rolling demand forecasts by SKU, region, or product category as required.

·       Support the monthly demand planning process, including the preparation of forecast review files.

·       Prepare the National Demand Review deck, incorporating insights into forecast accuracy, bias, actual and planned variances to budget, and previous forecast submissions for the National and Group Demand Reviews.

·       Maintain planning system master data accuracy.

·       Ensure all demand-related master data (e.g., product hierarchies, item attributes) is accurate and up to date.

·       Support and provide demand planning data and commentary into the budgeting and business planning processes.

·       Provide support to the stakeholders for demand-related activities.

About your experience

·       Experience in demand planning with a demonstrated record of achieving results, ideally in industrial products or similar industry, however, other industry experience would be considered.

·       Experience with demand planning software, ideally SAP APO or SAP IBP, however experience with other demand planning tools will be considered.

·       APICS CSCP and/or CPIM (Preferred).

·       Strong quantitative and analytical aptitude, ideally including statistical forecasting experience

·       Demonstrated record of driving continuous improvement of planning processes and tools
