Customer Service Specialist

About the role

Join a successful branch in Newcastle and be a part of collaborative and supportive team. Customer Service is a valued team in our organisation and you will be working closely with Account Managers, Warehousing and Leadership, ensuring customers are having a continuously positive experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure in a fast-paced environment, dealing with a variety of customers predominantly from agricultural industries. We offer all our Customer Service team members the opportunity to travel out ‘on the road’ with one of our Account Managers, this will give you the chance to meet some of your customers face to face, build on relationships, and find out firsthand what their needs are.

About your experience

It’s important that you are a team player with strong problem-solving skills, customer focused and thrive in a busy environment.  You will be an enthusiastic and tenacious individual with the ability to think on your feet.

  • 2-3 years’ work experience in sales administration or customer service 
  • Logistics, construction or manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Ability to understand your customers business and offer value-based solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal phone skills and ability to upsell
  • Proactive approach, passion for customers and good time management skills
  • Microsoft Office & SAP system experience ideal
