About the role

Reporting to the Branch Manager and based at our ARC Metalcentre in Mildura, you will work closely with customers and the warehouse team. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to order fulfilment and delivery.

 

This is a varied role that combines customer service and warehouse support, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being hands-on when required.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Respond to incoming calls and customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare quotations and manage orders through to accurate picking, packing, and on-time delivery
  • Build strong relationships with customers and provide value-based solutions
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

The working hours for this role are 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday.

What you will bring:

We are seeking a team player who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment and is equally comfortable supporting warehouse tasks when needed. You’ll be a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a hands-on attitude.

  • Experience in customer service, ideally within a trade counter, industrial, manufacturing, or hardware environment
  • Strong face-to-face and phone-based customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with regular customers
  • Proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach with a willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working across both customer service and warehouse duties, including some manual handling
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; SAP or similar ERP systems is advantageous
  • Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
