Reinforcing Solutions Engineer-Melbourne

About the role

Reporting to the Engineering Solutions Manager, the Reinforcing Solutions Engineer will leverage technical expertise to drive the adoption of InfraBuild’s products, processes, and services across the construction industry—focusing on sustainability, long-term profitability, and strategic stakeholder engagement informed by deep market insight.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leverage market knowledge to identify and facilitate market entry of InfraBuild (and associated BU) products processes and service offerings
  • Partner with direct customers to embed InfraBuild products and services in all stages of the project life cycle
  • Actively seek opportunities to expand market penetration
  • Utilise market knowledge to support and steer product planning and solutions (fabrication and construction) to develop market ready and cost effective go to market activities
  • Prepare and deliver technical documents and presentations to educate, influence and support customers
  • Work with functional teams across the business including Trade and Innovation, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance to achieve deliverables

 

About You

 

Our ideal candidate is a strategic and outcome-driven engineer with exceptional communication skills, proven leadership in technical delivery, and the ability to manage complex, multi-scale projects while driving innovation and long-term value.

 

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil/Structural)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Engineering – construction products and solutions
  • Working knowledge of construction market and engineering drawings
  • Strong Business and Commercial acumen
  • Strong relationship/stakeholder engagement and management
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage stakeholders and clearly document market solutions and strategic proposals for senior leadership
  • Showcase strategic thinking and a passion for innovation and outcomes, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop proposals that drive long-term business value
  • Technical delivery management and leadership
  • Demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects across varying scopes and complexities, from commercially contracted BAU operations and on-demand change requests to large-scale, multi-phase development programs
