Digital Engineering Manager
About the role
As our Digital Engineering Manager, you will be accountable for commercialising InfraBuild’s value engineering offer and developing / executing a strategy to drive growth of volume and service income through the provision of 3D modelling and other services to major projects and customers.
You will develop relationships with decision makers and key influencers in engineering, design and construction organisations to facilitate early involvement in the design phase of major projects and influence the design and constructability of reinforcement and prefabrication.
This will position IBR as a supplier of choice for delivering innovative value add products and services to major clients.
This role can be based out of Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Secure revenue growth in billing our modelling services to engineering, designers and or construction customers
- Establish and leverage senior management relationships with major project stakeholders to influence design and procurement with our modelling services
- Lead / chair customer presentations with selected members of the IBR team
- Influence design to simplify manufacturing and constructability
- Formalise a strategy to grow our share, grow our markets, add value and implement a structure to support the strategy
- Build and develop your team and internal capability
- Demonstrate value to clients through shortening the design phase and reducing the complexity in reinforcing supply chain
- Prepare budgets and business plans to deliver and monitor performance against those budget commitments
Requirements for this role:
- Relevant tertial qualification or experience in business, commercial and or management
- Proven track record in business development and revenue growth
- Commercial acumen
- Technical / engineering aptitude and construction design experience
- Experience with 3D Modelling and digital construction tools
- Demonstrated record of achieving results in a manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to implement change
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills and the ability to engage people across the business and at all levels
