Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and based at our Mayfield site, you will be part of a safety-focused, process-driven team with a positive culture, supported by on-the-job training and opportunities for stable, long-term employment.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Carry out preventative maintenance activities
  • Respond to breakdowns, including fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Overhaul fixed plant and operational equipment
  • Record and provide feedback through the maintenance management system
  • Adhere to quality and safety processes to ensure all tasks are completed to standard

 

The role operates from 5:30am–2:30pm on a 9 day fortnight roster (day work), with potential shift work required, offering a base hourly rate of $44.54–$48.49 plus tool allowance.

What you will bring:

  • Certificate III in Mechanical Trade OR Mobile Plant Technology OR Diesel Fitting (Plant Mechanic)
  • Proven experience in overhauling fixed plant equipment
  • Strong fault finding and troubleshooting capability
  • Effective communication skills, with SAP exposure desirable
  • Commitment to safety with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Hydraulics/pneumatics knowledge and/or forklift and EWP tickets highly regarded
