Junior Payroll Officer - Mayfield

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Payroll Officer to support our busy function in processing the fortnightly payroll in a timely and efficient manner.

Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will enjoy a flexible hybrid working arrangement and this role will be based in Mayfield - NSW. You are someone that likes to learn and grow within your role with support from an experienced collaborative team.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Accurate and timely data entry of payroll information
• Managing the payroll inbox and responding to employee queries
• Assisting with reporting and reconciliation of payroll data
• High level of professionalism, dealing with sensitive, confidential documents and personal information

This role is offered on a fixed term 12-month contract.

We are looking for a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and people skills.  You will be solutions focused and enjoy problem solving. We are looking for an individual who can bring lots of energy and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

To be successfully considered for this role, you will demonstrate the following experience:

• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
• Experience with SAP will be highly regarded, but not essential

• Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to uphold compliance standards.
