HR Services Trainee

About the role

Do you have an interest in Human Resources and Business Administration, but are unsure about where to start? Are you looking to upskill and progress your career? Not only will you have the chance to earn a formal TAFE qualification, but you will also receive valuable on the job training and earn a salary.

 

Based on our site in Mayfield, you will be joining a large multi-faceted company and learning all aspects of HR, by supporting multiple specialist functions.
 

This is a 2 year contract Traineeship.


The role includes, but is not limited to:

 

  • Providing a high level of customer service involving response to enquiries, the provision of accurate information in a clear, concise and courteous manner

  • Contributing to the team by undertaking administrative and other general tasks to develop strong computer and administrative skills with an emphasis on presentation

  • Contributing to ensuring processes and documentation remain compliant to the organisation’s quality systems, including the use of version control

  • Ensuring appropriate records are entered into the nominated systems in a timely and accurate manner

  • Promoting and maintain a positive organisational image and good community relations.


Previous experience is not essential as we are seeking applicants that have the right attitude, are dependable, reliable, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

 

  • Demonstrate an interest and eligibility to complete a Cert III in Business Administration or Cert IV in Human Resources

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail with good time management and organisational skills

  • Are reliable and eager to work and learn

  • Possess intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn and use systems

  • Have previous experience or demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
