Team Leader Machine Operator
About The Role
SRCM (Steel Reinforcing Company Malaga) are seeking a driven and motivated individual to join our team as a Team Leader Operator role. You will have the opportunity to join a small, community minded and high performing team. You will lead the Operators to achieve KPIs and drive a safety-first culture while advancing your experience in steel processing, pre-fabrication and distribution.
The standard working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
While leading the team you will cover a wide range of duties, providing variety in your day to day, this includes but is not limited to loading/unloading trucks, packaging and producing steel products.
Your key duties will include:
- Operating bending and cutting machinery for bar, steel and mesh products
- Leading a small team of operators and driving daily performance
- Overhead crane and Forklift Operation
- General storeman duties - picking, packing, loading, and unloading trucks
- Championing safety procedures to the highest standard
- Involvement in process improvement initiatives
You'll become part of a small yet high-performing team where your responsibilities will include achieving KPIs and fostering a safety-first culture.

You will have:
- Overhead crane and Forklift Licences/experience is essential.
- A positive attitude with a team orientated and safety focused mindset
- Background in steel reinforcing, manufacturing or construction industries
- Previous experience in a Warehouse or Team Leader role is ideal
