About The Role
SRCM (Steel Reinforcing Company Malaga) are seeking a driven and motivated individual to join our team as Key Account Manager, servicing the Perth market.
As a Key Account Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth by winning new business and managing some of our largest customers existing accounts within the residential and small commercial sectors. You understand teamwork is critical to achieving this success. You’ll manage key accounts, build long-term relationships, and work alongside a supportive team to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement in our sales culture. You will be highly motivated and target driven to get results.
As a Key Account Manager, you will:
- Win new business and grow strong relationships - Oversee a portfolio of existing accounts as well as expanding our customer base
- Review plans and drawing to provide timely estimates/quotes and manage bespoke customer requirements
- Work collaboratively with a strong peer network to drive efficiencies and innovation
- Effectively manage a sales pipeline, new opportunities and sales activities
- Be a key player and contribute to a high-performing sales culture
- Prioritising work demands to manage customer retention and satisfaction
The ideal candidate will possess a keen willingness to learn with an innate ability to connect with new customers and close sales. You will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and eager to build meaningful client relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate:
- Experience in reinforcing steel is ideal, but a background in concrete, construction, or building materials will be highly valued
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong business development and sales skills
- A passion for customer service and building rapport with clients
- Innovative and strategic business acumen
- Resilience and a competitive edge in a fast-paced market
- Confident in stakeholder and contract management
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team
