About the role
We are looking for a hands-on and dependable Warehouse Storeperson to support our busy Mackay Steel Centre. This is a great opportunity to be part of an established branch within a well-known Australian business.
The hours for this shift are Monday - Thursday: 10am-6pm, Friday: 8am-4pm, with occasional paid overtime available. Generous base salary on offer of $39 per hour.
Reporting to the Supervisor, you’ll ensure orders are picked, loaded, and ready for dispatch. You’ll be instrumental in keeping things running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Work within a small team
- Ensure safe and accurate picking and loading of orders
- Stock management
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work closely with other team members to meet daily targets
- Embody a strong safety culture
What we're looking for
- A safety-focused person who prioritises safe work practices in everything you do
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
- Forklift license is desirable, but not required
- Experience working with overhead cranes is desirable, but not required
- A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
