Branch Manager
About the role
The Branch Manager is charged with leading an established and hardworking team that pursues great outcomes in the market. The role is well-rounded in scope with full responsibility of branch P&L, customer experience, sales, safety, and operations.
The Mackay branch forms part of the larger ARC QLD network consisting of 15 sites, wherever ARC customers build, we’re there to supply their next project.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and mentoring a team to foster a high-performing culture
- Delivering EBIT result and building internal stakeholder relationships with senior leadership and the branch network
- Building capability within the team through development plans
- Driving revenue growth by promoting a focus on customer service within the team and building relationships with key customers
- Championing safety by ensuring the team keep each other accountable to the highest standards
About your experience
You will be a strategic leader with an innovative mindset, problem-solving and effective communication skills. Implementing strategies to drive sales performance, achieve safe and efficient operations and to provide a reliable and high-quality service to customers, while achieving regional and site specific targets in areas of safety, financial performance and quality.
You also have:
- Operations or People Management Experience.
- Industry experience in reinforcing, building products, construction or manufacturing preferred
- Passionate about customer service
- Experience in P&L, EBIT & financial reporting
- Proven track record driving effective sales processes with major accounts
